OUR AIRCRAFT:
At Roadhouse Flying School, we take great pride in the quality and condition of our aircraft. We are certain that you will enjoy every minute of training and rental in our aircraft. We welcome your comments or suggestions about our current fleet or an aircraft you'd like to see in our fleet in the future.
| All of our airplanes are on a leaseback arrangement. Basically, this means that a private individual owns the plane and we lease it from them for you to rent. The owner then gets to fly his aircraft at a much-reduced cost as most, if not all, of the cost has been deferred to the renter. We currently have need of several other aircraft to be put online, and if any of you aircraft owners think this might be something you would be interested in, please let me know and we can discuss it further. The additional planes we are looking at range from $25,000 to $125,000 in value. Thanks again to everyone for your business. Fly safe...Dave Williams |
All aircraft rentals are "Dry" unless otherwise noted. Meaning that the base rate will remain the same and the current fuel cost will be added to it. If fuel is purchased at locations other than here, we reimburse at our current fuel price. Block rates of 10% discount are given in any airplane when a minimum $1000 account is opened. Renter's insurance is not required, but highly recommended. In the event of an occurrence, the renter is responsible for damages and agrees to pay for such. AOPA offers very inexpensive Non-Owner's Insurance.
We use a Cessna 152 as our primary trainer. It is equipped with standard radios and features brand-new paint and interior. Standard rate is $50/hr dry, plus the current cost of fuel.

Our 2000 Cessna Model 172SP, N370JA, is the perfect IFR trainer or cross-country machine. Equipped with a Garmin 430 Nav/Com and a Garmin 496, this plane is an excellent way to learn Garmin products for both VFR and IFR applications. Standard rental rate is $80 per hour dry, plus the current cost of fuel.

This 1996 American Champion 7GCBC Citabria is now online for use as a tail-wheel trainer and renter. We currently do not teach or allow aerobatics, but after a 10 hour Make and Model checkout/ Endorsement, we do rent it out for solo use. Certain restrictions do exist. The Dry Rental Rate is $80/hr plus the cost of fuel.

We are also currently planning to add the following aircraft to our fleet to better serve each and every customer. A Multi-Engine Trainer, additional Cessna 172SP's, Garmin G1000 equipped trainer, and others. Please let us know if there is anything else you'd like to see us offer.
